About the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre
The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC) was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 1986.
An executive agency of the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), the Centre is uniquely situated amongst Big Ben, Westminster Abbey an The Houses of Parliament.
The QEIICC combines this stunning location with unrivalled conference facilities, offering 26 conference and event spaces across 7 floors, including:
- A plenary room for up to 1,300
- Over 2,000m2 exhibition space on one floor
- 4 large conference rooms for over 300
- A further 6 meeting spaces for over 100
- 12 syndicate rooms

The QEIICC welcomes corporate, association and public sector organisations from all over the world. Last year 407 events were held at the Centre, catering for an average of more than 500 delegates each time. The Centre’s turnover in the last financial year, 2008/09, was over £11 million, the best results to date.
