During August, 150 workers laid over 2,500m^2^ of carpet at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre and used over 300 gallons of paint to complete a refurbishment of the Centre’s third floor.

Unbelievably, around five miles of cabling was installed during the same period to further enhance the data and network services within the Centre.

Visitors using the lavatory facilities in the Sanctuary Foyer will notice a completely new look.

Incorporating high quality modern products with a crisp and clean theme, architects have used white glass doors and vanity tops with brushed stainless steel trimmings.

2001 has seen the successful completion of a major refurbishment to the Centre’s 5th and 6th floors. The renovated stand alone areas can now accommodate up to 300 delegates.

The rooms overlook some of the best views from the Centre, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the London Eye, and provide spacious new areas for networking, catering and displays.
