HD Hire Package Unveiled
The QEIICC unveils new audio-visual high definition hire package to take the stress out of choosing AV
The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), London’s most prestigious purpose built centre for professional meetings and events, has unveiled its latest audio-visual (AV) high definition (HD) hire package*, designed to achieve high quality imagery for its clients. The QEIICC has launched this solution to satisfy the increased demand for a simplified, stress-free AV solution.
The package, designed by the Centre’s in-house AV team, Interface, provides QEIICC clients with a comprehensive and economic means of imparting messages by projecting exceptionally high quality, pixel-sharp images.
The HD solution includes a Barco ScreenPRO II seamless switcher (a multi-layer video display controller) which combines flawless, seamless switching between sources with a variety of video effects including Picture-In-Picture (PiP). When used in conjunction with the Barco Events Controller, the switcher allows complicated image processing to be programmed giving QEIICC operators split-second control to relay clients’ sophisticated imagery effortlessly to screen. A fibre optic network completes the chain of equipment assuring a Digital Video Interface (DVI) signal is generated throughout. This signal is currently the most desirable within in the industry as it combines flexibility with digital quality.
