Sue Etherington DipM MCIM, has been appointed International Sales Manager at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), London’s premier purpose-built venue in the heart of Westminster.
In her new role, Sue will be responsible for generating new business from a variety of geographical and corporate sectors. In addition she will be developing the Association market, particularly in the US, and working with external partnership organisations to develop existing and overseas markets.

Her customer focused approach will assist in developing important key markets for us and completes our complement of dedicated sales staff, following the appointment of Lynn Falconer last month.”
Sue joins the Centre from Red Carnation Hotels (the group includes Chesterfield Mayfair and Rubens at the Palace) where she was National Sales Director. She had been with the company for seven years, where previous roles included UK Sales Manager and Director of Sales. Previous employment included roles as Sales and Marketing Manager for the Elvetham Hall Conference Centre in Hampshire and Business Development Manager for Eyncham Hall and Chewton Place.
