Leith’s Reveal New Menu Selection

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in-house caterers Leith’s reveal their new menus

Leith’s at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), London’s most prestigious purpose built centre for professional meetings and events, has unveiled its new selection of menu dishes for 2007/8.

Executive head chef Gary Parsons and his team have devised a creative set of menus, offering clients a sumptuous selection of food and drink for the duration of their event. Having provided clients with a range of Fairtrade tea and coffee for some years, the latter also being organic, Leith’s has now extended its organic range of products to include a variety of wines and a selection of organic meat dishes for delegates to enjoy. The organic meat range is sourced direct from the Marquee of Salisbury’s Cranborne Estate, a unique rare breed supplier based in Dorset. In the summer a range of organic traditional biscuits will also be available for delegates.

Continually striving to achieve and exceed client expectations, whatever the size of the event, clients can enjoy a range of fresh, uncomplicated and contemporary food and drink tailored to their requirements. From breakfasts or light refreshments to fork buffets, canapés, a la carte or cocktail party collections, Leith’s provide the ultimate dining experience for each event.

Founded by Prue Leith in 1972, Leith’s is now owned by the Compass Group and follows the motto ‘simply better’. Today this integrity is reflected in everything they do from menu planning to communicating with The QEIICC’s clients.

Richard Davis, deputy general manager with Leith’s at The QEIICC comments: “The ‘pick and mix’ trend for today’s catering allows people to eat precisely what they want to eat – something that is beneficial to the chef in this age of allergies and differing dietary requirements. Our new menu’s take the importance of choice into consideration, whilst offering interesting and delicious food to all delegates.”
