The QEII Conference Centre to Showcase its Extensive Refurbishments at EIBTM – Visit Britain Pavilion Stand G740.

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), London’s prestigious purpose-built conference centre in the heart of Westminster, will be showcasing its extensive refurbishments, following completion of its £5 million capital investment programme, at EIBTM in Barcelona from 30th November to 2nd December. The Centre will be exhibiting on the Visit Britain Pavilion Stand G740.

In addition, The QEII Conference Centre will also be highlighting the following:

  • Its new relaxation area on the ground floor. Situated near the Business Centre, this new space is set behind frosted paneling and gives individuals a discrete place for relaxation or to make business calls in private.
  • Its new video conferencing facility which means that an unlimited number of people at any one time can be linked to any country worldwide. The QEII Conference Centre will be showing how this in-house provision makes planning an event easier and more economical.
  • The latest ‘Hotspotting’ Internet service that provides clients with complete wireless Internet access at broadband speeds. The Centre is renowned for being an AV/IT intelligent building and now clients can have instant access to multimedia support.
  • Its innovative re-designed website, designed by web specialist Vohm, which helps organisers plan events, find accommodation and provides a complete interactive tour of the Centre. It also gives delegates the latest QEIICC news.

Stephen Norcliffe, QEII Conference Centre commercial director, said: “Our new relaxation area allows delegates to take time out from their event and relax in their own company or contact a work colleague in private. Alternatively, companies who hire out the whole of the Centre can use the space exclusively for their needs. From hiring an exclusive waiter from our in-house caterers Leiths and a head masseur from the Bliss Breaks service, to selecting drinks of your choice, the space can be tailored to suit individual needs.
