The QEIICC toasts staff success again

The QEIICC is pleased to announce that its AV and IT sales manager Deborah Jones and AV technician Joe Chilvers have obtained the Infocomm International Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) qualification.

The training has given Deborah and Joe a greater understanding of how to achieve clients’ needs, through better production values, enhanced quality of broadcast and improved use of the latest technology – critical in a changing and demanding business environment. The AV industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and education resources are imperative if organisations are to remain ahead of their competition.

Deborah and Joe are among just 8,000 CTS qualified personnel globally with approximately 1,000 CTS holders in the UK and Ireland. The programme is validated by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and is accredited by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). Infocomm International is the only AV trade association to obtain this ISO validation.

Production manager Derek Chalmers, who already holds the CTS qualification, intends to encourage all QEIICC AV staff towards certification.
