The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre announces new Commercial Director

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), London’s most prestigious purpose built centre for professional meetings and events, has announced the appointment of Jonathan Byrne as Commercial Director. Jonathan will be responsible for delivering the Centre’s business strategy though increased revenue generation, focused yield management of all of The QEIICC’s facilities and services and consolidation of the product the Centre offers to its clients.

Jonathan has a wealth of experience in the conference and event market joining from City Inn where he held the group wide role of General Manager – Meetings & Events, developing the hotel group’s meetings and events product. For the previous seven years Jonathan was responsible, as Group Sales & Marketing Director, for driving the brand and leading the sales and marketing functions at a strategic level across the nine businesses of the Crown Group.
