The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre has a strategic vision for its audio visual products and services that involves a comprehensive programme of innovation.

As a consequence we are committed to staying at the forefront of technological developments to ensure we are able to offer the best possible service to you.

HD Packages

We now offer a High Definition (HD) package that achieves exceptionally high quality imagery. Designed by our in-house audio visual team, Interface, the package consists of 2 x Panasonic PT-DW10000E, ‘3-chip DLP’ projectors with lenses, capable of 10,000 ansi lumens brightness (contrast ratio: 5,000:1) and full-HD at 1,920 ×1,080p pixels resolution.

Picture-in-Picture Technology

To take full advantage of this technology, a Barco ScreenPRO II seamless switcher has been added. This multi-layer video display system combines seamless switching with a variety of video effects including Picture-In-Picture (PiPs). Used in conjunction with the Barco Events Controller, it provides full image processing and assures split second system control.
